Job Description

As an Educator at BDDEC, you will:
Collaborate with fellow educators, Elders, and community members to design and implement a competency-based curriculum that integrates Indigenous knowledge and values.
Develop inclusive learning strategies that foster equity and ensure that diverse Indigenous perspectives are respected in the classroom.
Engage with the community, fostering ongoing collaboration to improve educational programs and support land-based education.
Promote inquiry-based learning and competency-based assessments that drive student success.
Lead the integration of land-based education into the curriculum, ensuring that students develop a deep connection to the land and traditional practices.

Job Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have the following:A Bachelor’s degree in Education.
