Job Position

They are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher and Assistant SENCO to join their dynamic team.

This role entails a balanced approach with 3 days dedicated to teaching and 2 days focused on

SENCO duties.

Job Requirements

  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  2. Experience in SEN settings, particularly with SEMH and SEND
  3. Ability to build nurturing relationships and manage complex behaviors
  4. Commitment to continuous professional development

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging and inclusive lessons
Support the emotional and educational needs of students with SEMH and SEND
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create personalized learning plans
Contribute to school-wide decision-making and curriculum development
Fulfill SENCO responsibilities including coordinating support plans and liaising with external agencies
