Job Description

As a Data Centre Operator at Singtel, you will ensure the smooth and continuous day-to-day operations execution in our Data Centre. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and security of our operations, contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor BMC Control-M batch jobs.
• Identify, escalate, and report incidents.
• Perform backup operations and regular server health checks.
• Generate and analyze regular reports.
• Adhere to all operational and physical security procedures.
• Maintain records to achieve acceptable audit ratings.

Job Requirements

At least a Diploma in IT or Computer Science.
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Data Centre Operations.
Familiarity with Data Centre & Server Operations Support.
Knowledge of Control M scheduling, Batch Job Processing, Report Generation, and DR Support.
Ability to work under a rotational shift basis (e.g., 8 or 12-hour shift patterns).
Strong multi-tasking abilities and a positive work attitude under pressure.
