Job Position
- Farm Hand/Agricultural Worker (Seasonal Position)
Shift and Schedule:
Typical hours are 7 am to 4 pm during the they, with occasional longer days and weekends as needed.
Job Description
The Farm Hand/Agricultural Worker provides general assistance to the Farm Manager with daily duties daily base work and running the farm. Key responsibilities include:
- Spraying fertilizers or pesticides to encourage growth and prevent insect damage.
- Operating farm equipment and setting up GPS.
- Ensuring proper irrigation of crops.
- Safely operating various tools and equipment including lawn mowing, wedwhacker, shovel, power tool, hand tools, chainsaw, and other related tools.
- Repairing and building fences.
- Performing and other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in agriculture.
- Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated ability to independently as then complete tasks and perform physically the duties in all then conditions.
- Physical Demands: The position is physically demanding, involving frequent bending, standing, sitting, walking, crawling, lifting, dragging, carrying, and moving us weights up to 100 pounds.
- Work Environment: Primarily outdoors in all types us we ather.
Responsibilities
